2-Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, is an extra layer of security that is known as “multi-factor authentication” that requires not only a password and username but also something that only that user has on them, i.e., a piece of information only they should know or have immediately to hand – such as a physical token.
Using a username and password together with a piece of information that only the user knows makes it harder for potential intruders to gain access and steal that person’s personal data.
To secure our clients, all clients must enable in their accounts 2FA. Due to security reasons, we enabled this for all accounts and clients can choose one of the two possible options:
Email MFA
2-factor authentication
Without enabling it, you will not be able to access the account.
How to Enable it?
Once you create an account, you will see the windows where you need to configure Multi-factor authentication:
So you need to select Google Authenticator or Email MFA:
Google Auth:
If you select Google Auth, you will need to scan the QR-code with your phone, or enter the code with the supported applications:
Once you do this, in your application, you will see the special 6-digit code that you need to enter once you click on Continue:
Then, please click on Submit. After the code is successfully entered and submitted, you will see this:
Email MFA:
If you have selected Email MFA, you need to click on Activate under Email MFA:
Then you will see that you need to enter the one-time code. To get the code, you need to click on Send one-time code via Email:
Then you do this, you will see that the button Send one-time code via Email changed to Resend one-time code via Email:
So it means that the code was generated and sent to you. So you need to check your email inbox (do not miss check the spam as well).
There might be a delay, so please wait 5-10 minutes and only then generate the code again.
Then you receive the code, please copy and enter it. After that click on Submit.
Great! Now you have enabled Email MFA in your account, and you will see this message:
