How to Resolve an Abuse Ticket at Time4VPS

Updated over a week ago

If Time4VPS detects suspicious, abusive, or illegal activity on your service, an abuse ticket is opened by the Abuse Team. These tickets require immediate attention and must be handled only through the abuse ticket, not via live chat.

Additionally, when the ticket is opened, we send an email as well, so please ensure you use a working email address when creating the account.

Where to Find Your Abuse Ticket

You can access your abuse ticket directly through the Client Area:

Abuse Notification in Client Area

When you log in to the client area, you will see a red warning message on the dashboard if you have an open abuse case. This message includes a “View ticket” button that takes you directly to the abuse ticket.

How to Properly Respond to an Abuse Ticket

If you receive the email of the abuse ticket, you can provide the answer there or:

  1. Log in to the Time4VPS Client Area

  2. Go to Support → Tickets or use the direct link above

  3. Open the abuse ticket

  4. Carefully read:

    • The reported issue

    • IP address, service, or activity involved

    • Any evidence provided by the Abuse Team

  5. Reply directly inside the abuse ticket with:

    • Actions already taken or what you will do to solve the issue

    • Explanation of the issue (if applicable)

    • Confirmation that the abuse has been stopped or you are working on this

    • Any preventive steps implemented

Important

Failure to respond or resolve the issue within 24 hours may result in service suspension or further action.

The support team does not handle abuse cases via live chat.

All communication must be documented in the abuse ticket.

Abuse Ticket Timeframe

  • You must respond and resolve the issue within 24 hours

  • If no response is received within 24 hours:

    • The server will be suspended

  • Even if you respond, the Abuse Team may take action if:

    • Illegal activity is still detected

    • No meaningful steps are taken to stop the abuse

Actions the Abuse Team May Take

The Time4VPS Abuse Team reserves the right to take the following actions without prior notice:

  • Suspend the service immediately after the ticket is opened

  • Restrict the account due to violations of the Terms of Service

  • Terminate the service and close the account if:

These actions are taken to protect the network, comply with legal requirements, and prevent further abuse.
